Dear Traveller,
Having been there myself, I am acutely aware of the troubles facing the international traveller. Waiting at airports, sometimes in the cold or rain, looking out for taxis, the feeling you are being taken for a ride financially as well as physically, because you are a foreigner.
One of my worst experiences; was being faced with a chauffeur—driven car, which was nothing like the one advertised in the company’s brochure. In fact, I doubted whether it would have passed an MOT over here.
So there I was, standing around, late for another appointment because I had been let down again by poor transport, when I got thinking, WHY?
I can travel between countries and cities, knowing the level of service I am getting from the global businesses that is air travel, so why not offer the same level of service, luxury and above all reliability from a professional car service?
Doing some research, I soon realised that there were many good companies operating at a local level (within their own country), but no one was really offering a solution on a global level.
Grabbing the bull by the horns, Cars All Over The World was born.
